My (Foxxy) first trip to Walt Disney World was in 2001, we went late in December and enjoyed my 17th birthday out there along with new years eve. Back then, I was a fan of Disney, although not the fanatical level I am now!
Natalie and I met in October 2007, and it was very clear she had a strong love for Disney.
We Married in October 2012 and had our Honeymoon in February 2013… guess where, that’s right Walt Disney World!
We had had a few holidays before, to the canary islands and Dominican, but little did I know, she had massively “nerded” out and was super away of all that was needed from booking Estas to the dining reservations! I knew I had married her for a reason!
We booked a package holiday with what is now TUI and we where super excited to be staying onsite at the pop century resort.
After a few days of getting our bearings, she sprung it on me…. DVC! (Disney vacation club) she has friends that had points at Disney’s Boardwalk resort. I was not completely sold, but I went to the meeting anyway (I had been to timeshare meetings before just to get the no obligation freebies!)
We visited one of the many MANY stands around the parks and the next day they sent a DVC van to come and pick us up from the hotel. We were whisked off to Saratoga springs, supplied with complementary drinks along with as much premium gelato we could eat!
Long story short we signed up and now a proud owner of points at Disney’s Animal Kingdom lodges!

Since then we have spanned a decade of pure Disney love, multiple visits back (for which I am truly grateful) visits to Disneyland Paris, 2 kids (with Disney names) tattoos and a collection.
